The Real Universe

Move your hand very rapidly back and forth in front of your eyes and the hand will appear to blur and cease to be a distinct and discernible object. Move your hands fast enough and you will perceive a blur that makes it seem as if the hand fills the entire field of motion.

When we were kids, around the 4th of July we used to rapidly spin a burning sparkler around our heads to the point where it appeared to become a solid circular ring of fire. You can create more or less the same effect by rapidly bobbing a stick up and down.

In each of these examples, the object is vibrating faster than the ability of the eye to differentiate or see the spaces that exist between the object. Thus we get an apparency of solidity, when in actual fact we are observing a vibration, an object in rapid motion.

The word vibrate literally means to move back and forth.

In radio and television we have the terms Very High Frequency (VHF) and Ultra High Frequency (UHF). In the case of the bobbing or vibrating stick, the stick can be seen to show up frequently everywhere within the field of motion. (Or at least it does as far as our vision is concerned.) Actually, if you tried to move the stick at a very high frequency or an ultra high frequency in radio and TV terms, your hand would disconnect from your wrist long before you got anywhere near your objective.

Yet, within this phenomena there exists a relatively easy way to get an understanding of the universe of vibrations that we refer to as the real world.

In actual fact, the walls, the floor and the objects we perceive as solid are trillions of small particles vibrating at frequencies that would put radio and television waves to shame.

The solidity of objects is actually just an apparency. It is what appears to exist. But don't take this too much to heart or it may severely shake up your sense of reality.

Many sophisticated educators and professors of quantum physics may take a rather dim view of my apparently frivolous approach to the subject of universes, but my prime objective here is to generate some understandings that will enable nearly anyone to experience some of the wonders that exist. And in my experience, one tends to get a lot more opportunity to understand and experience when the subject is kept light and fun. Failing that, I at least want to be entertaining.

MORE ON REALITY

Now move both of your hands up and down rapidly. Try to match motions as closely as you can. Now imagine that your eyes are set in one of the hands and get the idea of the one hand looking at the other. From that point of view, the hand would appear solid and still.

It's all relative, as Dr. Einstein would say.

So when we speak of the "real universe", we are speaking of our experiential response to a series of vibrations, a series of particles in rapid motion.

People on "drug trips" have reportedly stepped out of fast moving cars only to painfully discover that their bodies were vibrating at a different rate than their consciousness.

Apparently, one of the effects of certain drugs is to change the vibratory frequency or perception rate that one is conscious of. Thus, one can see that a knowledge of the anatomy of universes and realities could be very conducive to one's survival.

In this series on Universes, (Notice the word is plural), we will seek to explore, understand and experience a myriad of doorways that this subject can take us through.

Here are but a few of the areas we will delve into:

  • The Nature and Anatomy of the Real World.
This will include a fundamental and easily understood concept of suns, stars, planets, comets, meteors, asteroids, galaxies, black holes, white holes, universes and space junk of all sorts.
  • From the micro-cosmic perspective we will also cover atoms, sub-atomic particles, waves, vibrations of all sorts including AM, FM, AC, DC and a bunch of other things that can be fun, valuable and easy to understand. (Honest)
  • Additionally, we will invite you into the adventure of exploring your own universe, the universe of others, the universe of an extra-terrestrial or two, parallel worlds, other dimensions, densities and realities, and doorways into other worlds.
We will, at times, remain well within the agreed upon and accepted picture of the universe, and at other times we will explore wild and far out experiences and phenomena that an individual can delve into when one allows one's imagination to be real.

We will invite you to do a number of exercises and drills that use your imagination and creative visualization skills to open up and experience what few have known and even less are willing to talk about.

And above all, we will seek to have fun, possibly more than we have had in this galaxy for a long, long, long time.
