A Big Johnny Raff Story

The Amazing Story of my ESMB Postings

On the 28th of July 2010, I posted a very different version of Chapter - 1 of The Johnny Raff

Chronicles - The Scientology Years in the Ex-Scientology Message Board (ESMB.com) My good

friend, known on the board as BLUE SPIRIT encouraged me to past my chronicles on the board. He

said it would produce and explosion. At first I was reluctant to do this, but I subsequently took him up

and his invitation, and sure enough it produced and explosion.

A few days later, I received an E-Mail from another wonderful friend who posts under the name

Ikwdblds. In it he said:

“John, let me tell you, you achieved something unprecedented as far as raw stats!

250 Views a day is very high on ESMB and you achieved 4,000 in your first two days, just on your

own thread. Your "apology" thread got over 1,000 in the same period and you added more than 1,000

to our normal readership in your first two days. Now, that means you generated about 6,000 views in

your first two days on ESMB. No one has ever achieved anything even remotely close to that to my

knowledge“.

The responses to that initial posting provide an amazing read. It is an insight into the nature of

humanity that is most profound. I am re-producing much of that here, but if you prefer, you can read it
