Worry Won't Get You There"Most men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most pick themselves up and continue on as if nothing had happened." - Winston ChurchillWith regard to achieving your desires, it behooves us to take a look at the subject of worry. There is a great difference between worry and caring. Caring is generally an expression of love and a desire to support another in the attainment of their highest ideals and their fondest desires. Worry is actually the practice of feeding energy to what you don't want. With regard to this, there is a workable truth that bears repeating over and over.
The Anatomy of WorryWorry, by its very nature and definition, implies (or emphatically states) that the thing you don't want might happen. When you say or imply that something might happen you are, in fact, feeding energy to what you say you don't want. There is an old adage that says what you fear you create, and what you resist will happen. This is because to fear something you have to completely create it. Thus, you are empowering it with the ability to happen. When you resist something, you have to keep mentally creating it. You are saying it can come in on you and thus you empower it with the ability to affect you. Not only do you keep mentally creating it when you resist it, the more you push against it, the more energy you feed it and the bigger and more real it becomes. Remember: what you give your attention to grows in intensity.
Handling WorryTrying to stop yourself from worrying is completely impossible. When you TRY to stop something you have to mentally keep it in mind and push against it at the same time. Trying to stop something actually keeps it in place. Additionally, your pushing against it to stop it actually causes it to grow in strength.
The AnswerThe answer is not to try and stop worrying. The answer is to clarify your desires and feed energy to them by envisioning the person (or the situation) being the way you want them (or it) to be.If you want a person to be healthy and energetic, visualize them that way. See them youthful and vibrant. Remember how it felt to be young and vital and use that as a model to see them, and yourself, alive and able to effortlessly do whatever you want to do whenever you want to do it. Make your words and your thoughts a match to your desires. Look for something healthy about the person. If you don't see it, visualize and imagine it being there.
Easier Said than DoneWhen you say, "this is easier said than done," you are, in fact, feeding energy to an inability. You are literally creating yourself to be unable. You are saying, "I can't do that. The habit is bigger and stronger than I am."You are negating your power. You are using your energy to enforce and intensify a habit pattern. You are making the habit pattern mightier than you. You are saying and implying that the habit has more power than you do. And when you say that, it does - and you have used your energy to become a Master of Limitation. When someone says to me, "That's easier said than done," I reply, "If you say so!" Things are what we say they are. Things are what we define them to be. When we say things are hard to do, they are. When we just do them, they just get done. It isn't hard to visualize someone healthy, happy, wealthy and wise. It's simple fun imagination. Occasionally, I have someone tell me they have no imagination. I reply, "If you say so!" Their imagination is actually in perfect shape. They are perfectly imagining they have a no imagination. You might ask yourself why people can worry so effortlessly. They can in fact worry at the drop of a hat, or the drop of just about anything. They have the ability down pat. How did they get so good at worrying? The same way you get good at anything. Practice - Practice - Practice, Create - Create - Create. The answer to getting what you want is to create it. When you create worry you get worry. When you create health, vibrancy, energy, wealth, happiness, wisdom, laughter, and joy, you get them. The answer is to create what you want and let your imagination be real. When you do not observe what you want, visualize it. When your observations do not make you smile, create imaginings that do. When you see things that are not to your liking, find things that are. When you can't find things that are, imagine that they are as you want them to be. In this way you will truly begin to create what you desire and cease to create the things that render your desire null and void. If you keep at it - if you practice, practice and create your fondest desires - you will get good at it. It will get easier and easier to do. Just as it got easier and easier to worry, the more your practiced. Soon your desires will replace your worries as the DOMINANT vibration, as the dominate signal you broadcast to the universe. When that occurs, you will find your desires coming to you with more and more ease. The struggle to achieve what you want will become a thing of the past. So I entice and invite you to do this. The results are so delicious and so rewarding. It sure beats the Heaven out of worry. As always, I wish you continually expanding joy, happiness, abundance, health, love, adventure, majesty, divinity, laughter and a life full of all the things you love the most.
